JR Roofing via the JobDrop platform · Template version 2026-04-30
1. Who We Are
JR Roofing is a roofing contractor using the JobDrop platform to showcase work, capture leads, and manage homeowner communications. JobDrop (operated by JobDrop LLC) provides the platform infrastructure on JR Roofing’s behalf as a service provider.
When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “JR Roofing,” it refers to JR Roofing. When it says “JobDrop” it refers to the platform operator. When it says “you,” it means anyone interacting with JR Roofing through the JobDrop platform — homeowners, prospective customers, and visitors to jobdrop.co/jr-roofing-1774.
Questions or privacy requests? Contact JR Roofing at jobdrop.co@gmail.com (routed via JobDrop support).
2. Information We Collect
From Homeowners and Visitors

- Review and feedback data (star rating, review text, reviewer name)
- SMS consent records (timestamp, consent text, phone number)
- Call metadata when JR Roofing uses JobDrop’s call tracking (caller ID, call duration, timestamp)
Automatically Collected
- Device and browser information (IP address, user agent, screen size)
- Usage analytics (pages visited, features used, timestamps)
- Referring URLs and UTM parameters
3. How JR Roofing Uses Your Information
- Responding to estimate requests and homeowner inquiries submitted through the JobDrop-hosted forms on JR Roofing’s profile
- Sending review requests, lead notifications, project follow-ups, and appointment reminders (see Section 5)
- Generating project content from voice recordings and photos using AI (see Section 4)
- Improving JR Roofing’s public profile, project pages, and lead capture experience
- Complying with legal obligations
4. AI-Generated Content
JR Roofing uses JobDrop’s AI tools to create project pages efficiently:
- Voice transcription: Voice recordings are transcribed using OpenAI’s speech-to-text service.
- Content generation: Project titles, descriptions, and other text content are generated by Anthropic’s Claude AI from the transcribed text and project details.
- Contractor review: All AI-generated content is presented to JR Roofing for review and editing before publication.
Your data is not used to train AI models. Voice recordings and transcripts are processed solely to generate project content for JR Roofing.
5. SMS & Text Messaging
JR Roofing sends text messages through the JobDrop platform for the following purposes:
- Review requests after completed roofing projects
- Lead notifications when homeowners submit estimate requests
- Appointment and project follow-ups
- Team member invitations sent by JR Roofing’s account owner or managers (these originate from the JobDrop LLC platform number, not JR Roofing’s number, because the recipient is JR Roofing’s staff joining the JobDrop dashboard)
Consent: You will only receive text messages from JR Roofing if you have provided your phone number and opted in — either through a web form on jobdrop.co/jr-roofing-1774/estimate with a consent checkbox, or during an in-person service engagement with JR Roofing.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies, typically 1–4 messages per project.
JR Roofing and JobDrop will not share, sell, or distribute your mobile phone number or any information collected through the text messaging program to third parties or lead generators.
6. Voice Calls & Recording
JobDrop may provide call tracking numbers that forward to JR Roofing’s phone. When you call a tracking number:
- Call metadata (caller ID, duration, timestamp) is captured for attribution and analytics
- Calls may be recorded for quality assurance (a disclosure is played before the call connects)
- Call recordings are retained for up to 90 days, then automatically deleted
- Voicemail messages may be transcribed and sent to JR Roofing via SMS or dashboard notification
7. Location Data
Project locations are displayed as pins on an interactive map on JR Roofing’s public profile. To protect homeowner privacy, map pins are intentionally offset from the actual project address by approximately 50–200 meters. Exact street addresses are never displayed publicly.
8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
JobDrop uses cookies and similar technologies on JR Roofing’s public pages for:
- Analytics: Understanding how the platform is used (via PostHog)
- Maps: Rendering interactive maps (via Mapbox)
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out request.
